salted, dark, and rich brownies (gf, df)
Ingredients
1 cup (160g) 70% dark chocolate, roughly chopped
1/2 cup (100g) coconut oil
2 eggs
2/3 cup (100g) of coconut sugar
1/2 cup (50g) almond flour
2/3 cup (80g) of raw pecans, roughly chopped
1/3 cup (50g) chocolate chips or chunks
a pinch of fleur de sel
flaked sea salt, for finishing
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a baking mold or line it with parchment paper.
Melt the dark chocolate (160g) with the coconut oil in a bain-marie, mix until well combined. Set aside to cool.
In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and coconut sugar.
Slowly add the cooled down coconut oil/chocolate mixture to the egg/sugar mixture, stirring continuously.
Fold in the almond flour and add a pinch of salt. The mixture should be thick.
Then fold in the chocolate chunks (50g) and chopped pecans.
Pour the batter into the prepared mold and bake for approximately 25-30 minutes.
Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle the sea salt flakes on top for an extra burst of flavor.
Enjoy your delicious treat. Bon appetit!
